1. Placencia Peninsula
The Placencia Peninsula is actually located 180 miles away. But fortunately plenty of transportation is available to get there from Belize City.
Placencia’s beach is both beautiful and has a nearby fun little town that has plenty of tourists and expats as well as numerous restaurants, hotels and shopping centers.

Ambergris Caye is one of the country’s largest islands and lies just off the coast of Belize City.
